Messes happen. Most liquid spills bead up and roll right off the surface, making cleanup a cinch. But if it sits too long, soaks in or leaves a stubborn mark, don’t panic. Stain removal is easy if you have Crypton. Here’s how to spot clean your performance fabric properly.

Step-by-step spot cleaning instructions.

1. Brush off any loose dirt and crumbs and blot up liquids on the surface with a clean, soft, dry towel.
2. Apply a simple cleaning solution* with a misting spray bottle, careful not to oversaturate. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
3. Lightly scrub the area with a clean white cloth or soft bristle brush, working from the outside of the stain in. That inward motion matters. It keeps stain from spreading.
4. Rinse cloth/brush and the area frequently with clean water and soak with a clean towel as you go.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 as needed.
6. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area again to ensure no soap residue remains. Remember, soap residue attracts dirt and can make your fabric look dingy.
7. Allow fabric to air dry.

Pro Tip:
Avoid soaking the fabric. Oversaturation can cause water rings.
